Production

Each Forma Prima piece is handcrafted in the workshop using the ancestral lost-wax technique, or directly in metal. The original imprint (object, natural fragment, trace) is preserved: reliefs, hollows, and roughness.

The jewelry bears the BB maker's mark and, for silver, the 925 mark, when the thickness of the jewelry allows.

Depending on the model, a 9K gold archive plate engraved with the piece number (FPxxx) may be included.

Lead Times

• When it is not a unique piece, the jewelry is produced to order: approximately 3 weeks.
• You will receive updates at key stages (casting, finishing, shipping).

Delivery

• Tracked and insured shipping.
• Forma Prima packaging + certificate of authenticity.

Option A — From a ring you wear

• Measure the inside diameter (in mm).
• Multiply by 3.14 = your FR size .
  • Ex: 17 mm × 3.14 = 53

Advice

Measure at the end of the day (fingers vary slightly).

For compositions, choose your usual size , all rings will be adjusted accordingly.

Option B — From your finger

Cut a thin strip of paper (or thin thread) and wrap it around your finger. Mark the meeting point and measure the length in mm : this is your FR size.

• Ex.: 54 mm → size 54

Forma Prima jewelry is artisan jewelry , made to order , sometimes personalized , and carries an archive number .

As such, they cannot be returned or exchanged (except in the event of a defect).

In case of a size error , a paid resizing is possible on many models.

Remove your jewelry before exercising or prolonged contact with chemicals (perfume, lotion, solvents).

Sterling silver naturally develops a patina: this is normal and often desirable. If you prefer a brighter shine:

• Wipe with a soft cloth (or a special silver cloth).
• For light cleaning, use warm water and mild soap, then dry thoroughly.
• Store it away from moisture, in a separate case or pouch to avoid micro-scratches.
• A workshop restoration is possible (polishing, re-patinating): please write to me if your jewelry has experienced great adventures.
